About the Creators
Erica Davis, Author: Erica Davis is a freelance editor, podcaster, and tarot reader. In 2013, she quit her doctoral program in a blaze of glory to coach adult learners through academic writing, pivoted to editing fiction, then apprenticed with a literary agency before joining Book Pipeline as Creative Executive. Her work on grief and fandom, writing with ADHD, and quitting has appeared in Nerdist, Pipeline Artists, and The Professor Is In.
Davide Ortu, Illustrator: Davide Ortu is an Italian artist now living in Spain. He studied art at Cagliari Arts Lyceum FOISO FOIS in Sardinia. There, he began as a graphic designer in advertising while developing his pictorial style through exhibitions. In 2008, he moved to Madrid where he discovered the world of children's illustration.
