About the Creators

A world-renowned fantasy artist, Jasmine Becket-Griffith paints with a blend of realism and wide-eyed wonder, exploring gothic themes with elements of classical literature, the occult, nature, fantasy, and, of course, faeries!

Jasmine's paintings appear in countless books, notably The World of Faery, The Art of Faeryroud, Gothic Art Now, and her solo art book Fairy: the Art of Jasmine Becket-Griffith. Her work also graces television shows and movies, magazines and advertisements, tattoo parlors, theme parks, and lines of licensed merchandise products distributed at stores such as Hot Topic and Target. Jasmine lives in beautiful Celebration, Florida, with her husband/assistant Matt and their cats.

David Van Gough is a Necrosurrealist artist who integrates classical literature, religious iconography, mythology, alchemy, conspiracy theories, and personal biography into his artistic practice, which he describes as “an emotional and spiritual excavation for purpose”.

After relocating from Liverpool, England, to California in 2005, he was named an Honoree Artist of 2010 by the San Diego Art Institute. His work has featured in exhibits at prominent galleries on both sides of the Atlantic and has been showcased in a documentary, a horror film festival, and on various book and album covers.
