About the Creators

Tomás Hijo, Artist: Tomás Hijo is an illustrator and professor of illustration at the University of Salamanca in Spain. He has illustrated more than seventy books and written ten, many focused on legends and folklore. Known for his printmaking technique, his work appears in private collections worldwide and has been exhibited across Europe and the United States. In 2015, he received the Best Artwork Award from the Tolkien Society for his work inspired by J. R. R. Tolkien.

Minerva Siegel, Author: Minerva Siegel is the author of Tarot for Self-Care: How to Use Tarot to Manifest Your Best Self. She writes about tarot, witchcraft, and living with disabilities for print and online publications. When not writing, she practices divination in her Victorian home shared with her husband and their rescue dogs.
