Jenny C. Bell (she/her) is the author of Spirit Crystals, Divergent Witchcraft, and the Cosmic Creator Oracle deck. She is the founder of the Our Coven online community, host of the Cozy Coven Chats podcast, and a practicing witch. A Reiki master, meditation teacher, and budding herbalist, Jenny uses her years of wisdom to champion others on their witchy journey.

Jenny lives in the PNW with her family and pets where she reads far too much romantasy. Jenny is a former classroom English teacher where she focused on diversity, inclusion, and equity. Jenny is a contributor for Insight Timer, where you can find a meditation for every one of the sabbats on the witch’s wheel of the year. She is also an instructor on Udemy with ten courses including one on how to read oracle cards.

“What a wonderful resource! With the rising awareness around divergent processing, this book is right on schedule. Straight from the title, Jenny C. Bell immediately asks us to look outside of social conditioning and constraints to break through the idea of conformity, a default program that tells us that someone outside of ourselves can say who and what we are magically. She empowers us to consciously make our spiritual practice our own and provides the reader with the tools, mindset, and encouragement to be authentic. Through the three sections, ‘Establishing Your Roots,’ ‘Growing Your Practice,’ and ‘Making Your Magic,’ Jenny provides the reader with a grounded, focused deep-dive into witchcraft. Explore these pages with Jenny and your magical self!”
—Granddaughter Crow (Dr. Joy Gray) author, medicine woman, and member of the Navajo Nation

—Mary-Grace Fahrun, author of Italian Folk Magic and Living Folk Magic

“I wholeheartedly support and endorse this book. It is important, necessary, and deeply resonant for those of us who have had to learn how to navigate both neurodivergence and spirituality in our own way.”
—Laura Davila, author of Mexican Sorcery

“I have what’s known as a ‘monkey mind.’ I’ve always attributed this to being a Gemini, but it’s probably more likely that I’m an undiagnosed Highly Sensitive Person with a side of ADHD. Needless to say, this means my focus is all over the map. So it’s no surprise to learn that I have a hard time sitting still. I’m not the only one. For fellow mystical folks who struggle with busy brains, magick can seem out of reach. How can you do effective spellwork when your mind is scattered to the four winds? Divergent Witchcraft by Jenny C. Bell might be the exact book to answer that question. This is an incredibly practical and accessible book, written with compassion for neurodivergent folks who want to practice witchcraft but feel unsure where to start or how to adapt to fit their needs. Filled with spells, meditation, journaling prompts, and advice, it helps the reader honor traditions while leaving room for personal self-expression. It’s complete without being overwhelming. I wish I had this when I began my studies!”
—Theresa Reed, author of The Book of Astrological Returns

“Jenny C. Bell writes with mystical and neuro-spicy knowing. Divergent Witchcraft is genuinely sweet—a new kind of spiritual guidebook that meets its reader with warmth and expertise shaped by lived experience.”
— Enid Baxter Ryce, author of Ancient Spell and Incantations

“If you’re looking for a clear and adaptable guide to the fundamentals of witchcraft, this is the book you’ve been waiting for. As a neurodivergent witch, I felt like the passages on masking and people-pleasing had been written just for me, and I finished them feeling validated and seen. But you don’t have to be neurodivergent to benefit from this book! Divergent Witchcraft is an inviting entry point to witchcraft for any seeker, and Jenny C. Bell offers up her teachings with warmth and heart.”
—Asa West, author of Witch Blood Rising
