Francesca Matteoni

Francesca Matteoni teaches the history of religion and the anthropology of magic and witchcraft at a number of universities in Florence. She graduated in comparative religions at the University of Florence (Italy). She completed a PhD at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. She specializes in witchcraft beliefs, the history of European witch trials, European folk beliefs, and fairy lore up to recent times.
