Artist Statement

My work is for those who those who are drawn to luminous color, and the playful language of symbols. It is for people who connect deeply with animals and the natural world,. It is for those who are drawn to art that conjures storytelling. These are the collectors who welcome a painting as a companion, offering reflection, comfort, and a sense of wonder. My art is for dreamers.

Methods

My process begins with layers of writing, color, marks, and shape. It's a dance between intention and intuition. I allow the subconscious to lead until a central figure or presence begins to emerge with it's own message, then do my best to step aside and listen. The painting reveals what it needs, the colors it asks for, the balance of light and shadow, the feeling it wants to carry. Through this intuitive approach, each piece becomes a world of its own: a dream made visible, more honest and alive than anything I could plan.

I often work in evolving series, following recurring themes and stories.
